Interview with ANGI BRZYCKI:

Your childhood ambition:

I asked my mom this question. She said I wanted to be a lawyer when I was a child (I don’t remember this). She also said I used to draw a lot.

Something you treasure:

Chanting nam-myoho-renge-kyo.

Your worst habit:

Checking my email in the middle of the night.

The aspect of your work that’s most important to you:

The zines I make are an absurdity of my experiences that people (I hope) can relate.

Your first job:

When I was 7 I volunteered at a co-op (around the corner from my house) in exchange for zucchini chocolate chip cookies.

Someone whose work you highly recommend:

Sophie Calle.
